I was listening for the solo through the whole song, now I realize that the lead at 55 seconds IS the solo! I thought it was just part of the riff. All in all dude, this is my new favorite song by you, I can't stop listening to it. Anyways, good job, I have to go and listen to it some more. Cheers man.

Cheers mate, yeah it's just a lead instead of a solo, but it's the best lead I've played ever. I think it sounds fucking awesome, and I'm gonna use it again in a full song with vocals. I'm proper fucking happy with how that lead part sounds.
Thanks for the fucking awesome review mate! I forgot to use the new drum sounds that you sent me on MSN. Next one I make, I'll use those bad motherfuckers.
Rock Aaaawwwwwnnnn!

That was pretty frickin sweet dude! Good to have ya back and putting up new shit. This is quite the merry little tune, and I think I'll be playing it while I open my christmas gifts. Good job dude, and a Merry fucking Metal Christmas! \m/

That was pretty fucking good, but the vocals were clear in some parts, and then muffled in others. And they were a bit too loud. The guitars and everything were good, I heard the original. My future songs are going to have vocals, starting with My Sickness, (which is going to be changed to Your Sickness due to lyrics.) What do you use for the drums, I really like that sound. And what guitar do you use. Anyways good job dude, those lyrics are fucking ace.

Author's Response:
Yeah sorry about the loudness, I got carried away at times and held the mic too close to my gob.
I'd love to hear your vocals in your future songs, they should kick arsebiscuits.
The drums came from my drum machine (not a program) called BOSS Dr.Rhythm DR670. If you would like to see it, copy and paste this web adress into your web browser:
http://www.instrumentguide.com/drum%20machines/boss/dr670%20dr.%20rhythm/big.jpg
The drums from my drummy machine are brilliant. The guitar I use normally is a B.C.Rich Bronze Warlock, because of a great sound. I plug my B.C.Rich into a BOSS MT2 Metal Zone pedal, then through my POD, and finally into my computer.
I haven't printed the extra lyrics here yet, so I'll do it now (all lyrics in brackets are the new lyrics in the background):
Trapped, confined in my mind
Confusion, delusion, is only what I find
I’m accidentally fucking up my brain
Cramped in here makes me insane
I’m a hostage of my own thoughts
Falling into my dreams
Dreams in here are reality
Anything can happen
(What I fear is what I see; I’ll be gone in humanity)
Things that I can’t even imagine
Forever chasing me, haunting me
Filled with paranoia inside
Vast possibilities of dying severed deaths
Severed from my arms
Severed from my legs
Severed from my torso
Severed from my organs
Severed from my senses
Severed from my feelings
Severed from existence
Severed from my life
What I feared as a child
Is certain to arise (arise)
What I hated in my mind
Will surely come to life
You don’t know just how it feels
To be in what you cannot feel
In you this cannot be real
But to me it is
Perpetual torment
Eternal agony
Distress
(Distress)
Distress
I’m a hostage of my own thoughts
Falling into my dreams
Dreams in here are reality
And so are nightmares
(What I fear is what I see; what I fear in front of me)
What I feared as a child
Is stood in front of me
Now I see a hideous fiend
And I’ve got nowhere to hide
(Doomed, Doomed)
So my epitaph is written
As this beast approaches me
Now I sing the song of hope
And I pray to my God
Aaaagh…
Cheers Demon Slayer.

Works best with slow tempo
Sorry for the slight crudity of it, but you get the picture. Anyway, someone should make a song out of it, you know, add chords, base stuff around the melody.

The sound of this was so professional it made me want to shit my pants... wait... hold on... ahh.. there it is, I'll change my shorts after I review this. Anyway nice job, the solos were fucking spectactular... wait... there we go... I might need to change my pants too. Where did you learn this shit and how long have you been playing, and what do you use for the drums? This was fucking good keep it up.

Author's Response:
HAHAHA thanks man! I am self-taught, I've been playing for about 13 years I guess. For the drums on Desert Rose I used Drumkit From Hell. I've listened through some of your stuff. I love your 80s metal style. You have some kick ass metal chops! Reminds me of good ol' Metallica.

Dimebag has to be one of the greatest guitar gods of all time. You didn't quite nail the riffs down that great, for the opening riff you should have put a triple in like 000-0-0-0, the harmonics were done pretty good, overall the riff was easy to recognize good job and great pick for the riff.
Author's Response:
Thanks for the review! If I could nail my riffs like Dimebag, I would quit my day job.

This was pretty good, the guitars had a lot of bass, only thing is that it wasn't loud enough but anyways rock on, good to see you putting up new stuff.

The opening sounded a little farty and out of tune, but everything else sounded heavy as fuck, good job, awesome riffs.

Answer to Speedmetal messiah: I was too lazy to record another acoustic beginning. It was actually made months befoere I worked on the electric part of the tune.
